As we have a mixture of nationalities and languages, where people may say it differently based on their local culture, what is the official way on how to pronounce the new name?
Koh-dee
or
Code-Eye
or another way?

You pronounce each letter like in XBMC.
So Kay-Oh-Dee-Eye, or kayodehi.

Someone else mentioned another slight variation that puts a slight pause between the ko and the "d", coo - dye.
Honestly, all of them are blending together in my head, and I don't know what to call it anymore :)
None of the possible pronunciations bother me, but I know some people were off put by a name that sounds like Cody, so meh, whatever.

I predict that Kobi will be the typo of choice for Kodi ;)

kodeee is how I imagine myself saying it outloud.
Next, turn kodi into a verb and get it added to the dictionary.
