Intel NUC Bay N2820 and 24p
#1
Running Ubuntu 14.04 and XBMC but I can't get 24p to work. 60hz and 50hz refresh rate switch works automatically and the xbmc.log says it's switching to 24p 1080p but it keeps in 60hz.

Running on an LG TV. 24p works fine on all my other devices, and a Raspberry Pi with Openelec.

In expert settings under video and playback, have you selected the option to use the refresh rate of the video?

Yes, it switches the TV fine to 50hz videos and 60hz videos but 24p videos always switch to 60hz (the default).

I've fixed it by using fritsch's upstart script for xbmc which bypasses the Ubuntu default Window manager. 24p refresh rate switch now works fine.

That's a cut xbmc.log in the first post - no one can see something in there.

First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
