Hello all.
I'm a new xbmc user trying so set up a new Olive One UPnP music player. Everytime I go to play music xbmc crashes. I think I created a log of the incident.

I'm not really sure what I'm looking for as I go through the text. I'm hoping so more experienced folks can go through it and tell me what's wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Well done for providing a debug log in your first post, oh, and welcome to the forum Smile

Sadly, the log doesn't show anything because you didn't make XBMC crash. You need to get another one where you try to play some music and XBMC crashes. Hopefully there will be something in the log then.

I tried it again.

Obviously, if it crashes, I can't send a log until I open it back up again. If that clears out the crash, then I'm not sure how to get a log of it.

XBMC keeps a copy of the last log. If XBMC crashes and you restart it, you want the 'xbmc.old.log' Under Windows, this is located at '%APPDATA%\XBMC\xbmc.old.log'

OR, see step 6 here, if XBMC crashes -> http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Log_file/Easy

Yeah !!!! It's the right log, but sadly, I can't tell you why its crashing Sad You probably need a dev at this point to help out.

What I can tell you is that you'll probably also need the crashlog which ends in .dmp The full filename will be something like xbmc_crashlog-13.2-BETA1 Git_20140711-450924a-20140723-213410.dmp

You'll need to use a filesharing service for that, rather than xbmclogs though.
