Release P2P-Streams - SopCast and AceStream for Kodi
Thanks mate!

Although I have a problem with some acestreams showing no video, only audio. What could the reason for this be?
If it is the pi, you need to buy aditional codecs from the raspberry pi foundation to play some of the media formats some streams use...
Yap, it's a pi according to your post history lol.

Yep rpi. Okey, I thought all the acesteams used the same codecs. Just shows my technical incompetence Smile

And beer of course - so that it was not too boring Wink

Import one of the recommended advanced settings xml u need to limit the buffersize and increase the curl timeout.
Enen,

I have found the following:

I have an Odroid U3 with Unofficial 4.1.5 OpenElec on it , a MX2 box with also unofficial 4.1.5 Openelec on it and Raspberry Pi with the Official OpenElec.

On the boxes with the Unofficial OpenElec ''Download Modules'' is not working while on the Raspberry it is ...

I know this is a hard request, but could there be a way in your code , to force ''Download Modules on Boot'' even on Unofficial OpenElecs??

Many thanks again for one of the best add-ons ever !!!! Wink

Why is it not working?
Just put the settings back to default, click ok and enter the addon
Enen, My download on boot doesn't work. I have uninstalled, deleted everything, reinstalled and no. You know, Cubox. Are downloaded elsewhere and copy them? Previous versions works ok.
Thanks.
OpenELEC is listing the add-on as incompatible at the moment it seems.

Nop it's not, force refresh xbmc.org repository and p2p-streams repository as well afterwards.
This happens because you're looking for updates before connecting to wifi/internet so the system can't find the dependencies the addon needs and report them as incompatible.
Connect to the internet, force refresh xbmc.org repository, wait a bit, force refresh p2p-streams repository, wait a bit...install.

Sorry, you're right of course. This happened on first run and I was a little too eager — I added your repo before xbmc.org had pulled anything.
Can you explain the boot to get modules procedure in detail pls? I enabled it from the configure tab and restarted the android. I was asked the choice for sopcast player as usual procedure. I went to import the recommended settings, chose the top one, and got the same red message to reconfigure to get modules. Am i doing something wrong here?do i import both settings? Also i noticed that i have acestream engine 2.1.11 installed, do i install the 2.2.10 for better performance?my current one was working fine till yesterday

you mentioned OpenELEC build broken - what exactly broken in it?
Is there workaround to run it?
Are you going to fix it in the next vertion?

I updated the acestreamengine bundle for openelec (3.0 alpha a18) and there are a couple of new dependencies missing (as I released them without testing properly).
The best workaround is to wait for the next addon update. I managed to fix it yesterday after 5 hours swipping hdd's on my only laptop...just for you to have an idea how frustrating, hard and boring this was.
People running openelec (32 and 64 bits) should really pay me a beer when the next update is released Tongue

Many thanks for your efforts Enen, you should add a 'send beer tokens' option to the main menu!

I remember asking you about an option to change the menu view from medium menu, as that view is horrible with the skin I'm using. Is there a way yet to change the default view?
Which view? I don't remember forcing any view in this add on. Maybe on lists only
