Hi, I recently wiped an old laptop and installed XBMCbuntu 13.0 Gotham on it, upgraded to 13.1 and took out a VRC-1100 remote to set up with it. I followed the directions here: http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=How...for_Ubuntu and I'm stuck.
when running irw, I can see that:
1) The top section of buttons (Reverse, Forward, Skip Back, Skip Forward, Play, Pause, Stop, Record) are sending and receiving signals (both the remote and receiver's LEDs light up), but nothing shows up in irw
2) The directional buttons and the OK button show up in irw, but they do not produce any reaction in XBMC.
The only real buttons that work are the Volume Up/Down buttons, as well as the mouse + Right/Left Click buttons. Can anyone help me with this? My Lircmap.xml and keymaps/remote.xml are the ones on the page I linked above, I didn't change anything.
