I have install a new nas at home and I have add I new movie source in xbmc and every time I try to scan for new content with the new source it reboot xbmc!

I did some trouble shooting and I found something strange If I scan new content for individual folder containing 1 file it doesn't crash but soon I try to scan with multiple folder it reboot

Any help would be appreciated

Can you post a debug log? Also what hardware are you using?

Ok I found it! I realize I had to apply access permission to all sub folder in the root folder of my NAS so now it's working

we still shouldn't crash Can you at least tell us which version you are using and on which OS.
