Hi Guys,
I remember seeing a tweet a week or so ago saying that with Kodi14, support for the Crystal HD Decoder card was being dropped. What does this mean for the ATV1? Is this still being supported is that being dropped as well??
Thanks
Steven

Last I heard, OpenELEC and OSMC (formally Crystalbuntu) still plan on having ATV1 builds, likely with some form of patched in BCHD support.
BCHD being dropped from the main code branch is mostly a maintenance thing at this point. No one in the group wants to maintain it in the current form, so those who want to use it just need to patch the support back in. There is also some interest from others outside the group who want to work on BCHD, but only time will tell if that actually leads to anything.

Thank you Sam!!! I was a little worried because I just found some PATA SSD drives and started using them in the ATV1. So far they work much faster and less heat, without all the headache of trying to use a SATA to PATA converter.
