I'm not sure if this is possible or not, but could I use XBMC to do the following for a work setup:

1. Play a slideshow during the day from a share that can be updated at anytime with more pictures.
2. During lunch hour (ex 12:00-1:00) switch over to live to TV to a particular channel
3. After that switch back to the slideshow

Any feedback will be appreciated.

At a quick glance, I didn't see anything specifically about pictures slide show, but you could just set the slideshow as the screen saver, so one minute after the live TV hour ends it will just do the slide show as a screen saver.

EDIT: where is the live TV coming from?
