Intel NUC n2820 v Gigabyte Brix 2087.

Interested in getting either of these and needs to comfirm which is best. Can someone please advise if I would see any real difference in xbmc experience between these two boxes running openelec. I know they have slightly different clock speeds but will this be noticeable in every day use.

Hardware features wise the nuc has IR but this is not that important they will plan to use phone app to control.

Either would have 2gb ram and running 120gb ssd. The Brix is a few pounds cheaper so wondering if I went for it would I regret it over the nuc.

Checked out the specs and as you said both are identical but for the clock speed.

In OpenELEC I don't think there will be any perceptible performance difference.

I have just ordered a 2820 that arrives tomorrow. Will use it with 4gb ram and 128GB SanDisk Ultra plus SSD
