Hello, got a problem, all video scripts fail, the other day everything was working fine, but now nothing. So this is what I have done so far:

complete unistall of gotham
installed gotham
added youtube, espn, fox and a few other addons
still same problem, error script failed

unistalled gotham
installed xbmc 12.3
added same video addons as above
still the same problem

my debug log

I have one other computer that has gotham on it and it runs fine.

Not sure what else I can try

Thanks

there are no youtube / fox / cbs errors in your logfile.

the only error is see is from plugin.video.arte_tv, which says 'connection denied'.
Do not PM or e-mail Team-Kodi members directly asking for support.
Always read the Forum rules, Kodi online-manual, FAQ, Help and Search the forum before posting.

It looks like you have the same problem I had (Errno 10061). I believe it is a Windows problem caused by a bad patch installed by Windows Update.

See the post below for how I fixed it.

On second thoughts, looking at the other errors (Errno 11004) it looks as if you have set the option for a Proxy HTTP Server incorrectly.

See post referred to in my earlier answer above.

Thanks, in fact I just got done reading your thread a little while ago, tried everything you had done, but no luck, unfortunately I don't have an earlier restore point to go back to, Sad

The only other thing I can think of is that when xbmc stop working, I was using a vpn at the time for some web browsing and then went into xbmc forgetting that I still had the vpn active, I turned off the vpn went back in to xbmc and then no addons worked. I never had the proxy enabled in xbmc, nor do I now. I have tried xbmc with & without the vpn, but no addons work. I can download the addons & install them, but wont work.

Are there any other prgms that need to be allowed through the firewall for xbmc to work?

thanks

I use a VPN from time to time and have never had anything like this. It sounds like your VPN left some configuration setting behind when it exited. Can you do the following:

Bring up the Windows CONTROL PANEL
Go to INTERNET PROPERTIES
Go to CONNECTIONS
Go to LAN SETTINGS

Then check that 'PROXY SERVER' is not ticked.

Also, are you absolutely sure you don't have a restart file that you can revert to. Windows creates one automatically when Windows Update runs.

checked, proxy server is not checked, the weirdest thing, it works again, heres something I changed before reading your recent post, I noticed in chrome settings under advance and network, the netwok button was greyed out and it said something that a extension was handling my proxy settings. So i checked extensions in chrome and the only thing I had that would effected was HOLA, so I removed that extension, did a restart, tried xbmc 12.3 and she worked. The thing is that extension HOLA has been on this system for a while and running, so I can't see how that was effecting xbmc!!!

I still think it had something also do to with the vpn running at the time I entered in xbmc and this stopped working from that point, even though I did turn off the vpn, but xbmc still wasn't working.

I wish I new the main culprit for these porblems.

Thanks Elusien for your help, now I get to reinstall all those fucking addon's, fun fun
