Have you tried putty? - http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=SSH...sing_putty

I have no problems accessing it on my fire tv.

I also use JuiceSSH on my tablet. - https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...essh&hl=en

I use Bitvise SSH Client on my Windows systems to connect to my ATV. It has a very nice GUI and I have had no problems with it.

Does Firetv have an ssh server built in? I don't think so, most android distros don't.

I think most people transfer files too and from their firetv with one of the adb programs, the same way as you get XBMC on there in the first place.

Ahh, that's right you have to install/run an ftp server app first before connecting to AFTV. Between adb via Terminal Emulator and juice ssh for my Rpi's I forgot what I had been using.

I say again, what ssh server are you running on your FireTV? I guess the answer is NONE.

Use the ADB tools, or install an SSH server.

You don't need one, use the ADB tools.

Use FTP Server https://play.google.com/store/apps/detai...fox.ftpsvr

Then use any ftp client you like. I use cyberduck https://cyberduck.io/?l=en
