Using old macbook for xbmc
#1
Hi guys,

So I was thinking about getting a NUC to run XBMC, but remembered I have an old macbook lying around which is currently not being used. I wonder if it would be a decent HTPC. Here is the model (late 2008):

What do you think? It is old so I am not sure what it willl support. Also, is there any way to have only OPENELEC installed?

Thanks

I think I will give it a try. Any clue on how to install OpenELEC on a Mac?

Try xbmc first and see if it works.

Not really but on a PC you can install OE in a USB flash drive keeping the OS.
