Linux problems with shutdown / restart on xbmcbuntu and raspbmc
#1
hi,

i'm using xbmcbuntu on my zotac ion 330 mainboard and raspbmc on my raspberry pi. on both systems sometimes i have problem when i try to shutdown or reboot them - they don't to that.

xbmcbuntu: the problem exists when i shutdown/reboot via remote and via ssh. i see the xbmc-logo and thats it. i have to use a hard reset the reboot the machine. when the machine hangs at this point, sometimes i can connect via ssh, but a new 'sudo shutdown now' doesn't help.

raspbmc: normally i don't shutdown the pi, only when i have to restart after set up someting or installed software. this is done via ssh only. sometimes there is a message "Relax, XBMC will resume shortly...". but the pi don't shutdown or reboot. i must do a hard reset.

some people could solve the problem on pi with a new sd card, but i have the problems on 2 different systems.
