Showing a TV Documentary Series as a Set Collection in Movies
#1
I'm trying to have the Planet Earth HD series show in my movie collection as a set. I've created NFO files for each one of the series and they now show up in my movies but XBMC/KODI appears to be ignoring my Planet Earth Collection set statement in the NFO file which look like the following:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
<movie>
<title>Planet Earth Jungles</title>
<year>2006</year>
<genre>Documentary</genre>
<set>Planet Earth Collection</set>
<studio>BBC</studio>
</movie>

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

Listed in multiple TV and Movie database, why re-invent the wheel? Scrape properly and use Gotham sets function if needed.

Thanks PatK! I'm new to KODI and didn't even know what scraping was when I wrote this question. I've always just used the update library function and the system did it for me for over 500 movies. This Planet Earth issue has thrown me. I don't have Gotham yet. Sorry I troubled you but thanks again! I'm learning fast.

Do update the software, Gotham has made sets so-easy. Decide if you want Planet Earth as a TV series or Movie set, create a folder in the scraper path, then when with the folder in video mode, manually scrape the series.

But yes' the first steps are the toughest.

Planet Earth is a TV series not a Movie.
