I'm running 13.2 on s89-h (android). Wanted to try mxplayer as external player, so I put playercorefactory.xml in userdata. Got in to work.

Deleted the file, back to normal. Tried different versions of kodi.

Now back on 13.2, tried the playercorefactory.xml again, but now it doesn't work anymore, keep getting the message in the thread's subject.
Tried everything, from other kodi versions, deleting folders, uninstalling mxplayer and reinstalling, everything. I can't get it back to work.

Help, please.

Got it. The first time I used mxplayer as an external player, I played a video file locally. That's why it worked, it doesn't work on SMB. You need smb-wrapper to make it work with SMB.
