Hi, I have tried searching threads etc and cant seem to work out a solution....

The problem is I am running windows 8.1 with a Nvidia Geforce GT630 card. Gotham 13.2 , screen res 1832 x 1036 on a pioneer plasma , wired connection , Intel I5 4670T, 8GB RAM. The HTPC is connected to an ONKYO AVR via HDMI and the AVR to my plasma via HDMI.

When I am playing a video XBMC has no problems and looking at the codec 'O' I see the film rate at 24 and the system at 24. I have my screen set at a rate of 24.

When I play streams, if there at a rate of 25 my XBMC still shows a rate of 24 and lots of skip frames this is increased when I play a stream showing 29.97 and XBMC still playing at a rate of 24.

I have 'Adjust display refresh rate to match video ' enabled.

I'm sure there is a simple solution to getting XBMC to play at the same rate as the stream I just can't work it out. Apologies if this seems a simple question it has me stumped. Sad

First I would enable debug logging in your settings before providing logfiles.

And if you are talking about streams provided by mashup:

I think you won't get any support for this in here
