I need to move from my internal tuner to an external or usb one and I thought this time I'd aim to what I want. My current internal worked well with tvheadend, but the channel names never came over, and you have to manually map everything out. We have some very odd OTA channels and after a week of trying to figure it all out I gave up.
Can anyone recommend a tuner that is known to work as far as grabbing the channel names and mapping correctly? I'm US, only interested in OTA (no cablecards), I don't need more than 1 tuner (but more is fine), I'm not even really interested in recording anything- though pausing and short rewind would be nice.
Obviously my requirements don't seem to be much, so cheap is always welcome!
