OK.... I need some help again.
I've just returned home after being away for two weeks and it seems like my trusty old TalkTalk supplied modem (modem only, no WiFi) has died. I have swapped this over to a wireless router that Talk Talk sent me about a year or so ago. I'm having the same problem as I had previously in this thread and can't seem to figure out how to fix it. I'm assuming as both devices were TalkTalk everything should have been OK, but it's not.
Any suggestions.
In XBMC my paths are set smb://192.168.1.7/Data/Movies
Unlike the Time Capsule I have at mums house my own one was never set to static. The one at mums kept changing the I.P address so I set it to static but mine was always fine as DHCP.
This is whats showing currently. I've tried changing the pathways in XBMC to smb://192.168.1.1/Data/Movies and I've tried setting the Time Capsule Static to 192.168.1.7. Neither work.
The I.P address to access the TalkTalk router is 192.168.1.1
What am I doing wrong here?
