I often use XBMC without display, just using XBMC remote apps on IOS or Android. I do this when playing music or starting music addons. Mostly it works but when XBMC show a message saying it cannot play the file or there has been a script error I do not see it and I cannot start other tracks or addons from the remote app until i dismiss that message. Is there a way to disable these pop-ups or being able to start tracks anyway?

Can nobody answer this? What good is a remote app with library interface if I cannot start any tracks if there's a message on the main display?

Go to system\settings\add-ons\. When at that screen press left to bring up the options menu. Turn off Notifications.
