Crashing when attempting to install from Zip file

Hi all

I have just installed XBMC and everytime i try to install from a zip file the menu slide to the right and then freezes and does not install anything i have the same issue on 2 apple tvs and 2 pcs all running gotham

is there an issue with the software or do i need to change some settings?
