Xbmc freezes once buffer is full

Im watching a video from my NAS and once the buffer fills up the video starts freezing. It's only taking 90MB of my 16GB of ram. I seem to have sufficient hdd space and becuase it's buffered it means it's not a bandwidth issue.

Any ideas? Should I change my settings?
