Hi everyone.
I'm running latest version on lubuntu ... when I tried to shutdown system or exit from xbmc it takes several minutes to perform...

Did anyone ran into this issue? And idea?
Thanks in advance

debug log (wiki)

The issue is often some errant add-on taking time to shut down.

Hi,

I'm attaching the log and crash logs...
I'm getting errors on service.py on starting xbmc and from what I can understand it hang/stuck trying to stop it...
When it got stuck the only way to stop is by killing prov at Linux ....

same answer as in your other thread. Install a proper xbmc version from our ppa(s)

Yes you may find that indeed you have caused this by installing hubwizards and other addons/repos that, not only are totally unsupported here, are also poorly coded, cause problems with xbmc setups and most importantly are also treading on the piracy policy here. Just a FYI.

Two things you may want to consider.

a) Delete the addons folder and addon_data folder and try again without these, (yes delete, bypass rename and go straight past go and do not collect $200)

b) Reinstall xbmc from fresh without polluting it with such addons/repos (see Team XBMC PPA (wiki)

Or if neither of those are an option consider going elsewhere for your support.

Hi,
I removed installation and reinstAll from ppa , looks like it solved the problem.
