Hi guys,
I am using my xbmc with the youtube plugin for quite a while now.
In the last time I experienced incredible slow video loading (even 720p streaming wasn't possible)
Beside the usual suspects (slow wlan, buffering settings in the advancedsettings.xml etc.) I could not find a solution on the internet.
After a while I found the solution myself:
I had to login in my youtube account in the plugin settings!
Yes, I was also suprised by this, but in my case (germany) youtube seems to limit the band width for non-logged in users.
At least for me, this is new. I was used to stream 1080p videos since ever, without logging in.
For me this was definitely the solution, if anyone else experiences this I would be interested to hear about it.
