Mouse stuck on one screen in fullscreen mode
#1
hi, i'm running linux mint 17 cinnamon 64 bit, and i'm trying to get xbmc on a second monitor (TV via s-video out). i'd like to be able to continue using the computer on the other monitor, but xbmc traps the mouse pointer on the second screen. if i disable mouse and touch screen control in xbmc and restart it, there's just no mouse pointer on either screen.
i think most modern PCs are more than powerful enough to continue functioning normally on the primary monitor while running xbmc on a second one, i could get round this by running xbmc in a virtual machine, but it seems excessive to resort to that, when all i really want to do is run an app in fullscreen on one monitor while still allowing me to use the mouse elsewhere.

Use a nightly. Gotham does not und er stand multi monitors.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. Is there a nightly that's particularly stable, or should I just use the latest one?
