Running Eden on my HTPC and it sometimes it gets choppy. Often restarting will cure it. Thinking if I should update to Gotham or Kodi.. which will run smoother on a low end CPU?

The codename for the next version is helix not kodi. Helix is not released, so unless you want to experiment and/or test you only have Gotham to choose from.

v13 (Gotham) is the stable build. Try the stable build first. v14 (Helix) is still in development, and isn't recommended to people unless they want to help test things and aren't afraid of the occasional crash or bugs.
