Just installed Xbmc on my old sony xperia s and so far it works great with my sony tv as i can control it with the original remote through HDMI (didn't even know it could do that).

However there is a bug that makes watching movies inpossible.
The playback is perfect and the files load from my pc using windows SMB. The problem is that the gui hangs and sort of vibrates/shakes in the black bars above and under the video that are normal during hd playback. I tried the release and the latest nightly version of the apk and tried some different skins and playback settings but they all have it.

Try this... When the video is playing open the menu and click on the video settings option. Change the view from normal to stretch 16:9 and then click set as default for all videos at the bottom. The issue should disappear... Well it did for me.
