Long time XBMC user, just recently updated from Frodo to Gotham as I figured all the bugs have been worked out. Only real issue I'm having is I can't get chapter skipping to work. *ALL* of my 500+ movies are stored in MP4 (m4v) format and according to the "common issues" page it says it's broken in v13. Just wondering if anyone has found a fix. There doesn't seem to be a lot of threads on the subject which is surprising and makes me wonder if I'm missing something.

The files show the chapters in the info boxes. e.g. it will show "Chapter 00/19" or whatever. But trying to skip chapter just starts the file over again (I'm guessing it's actually attempting to play the next video but there is only 1 in the folder).

I can't believe there still hasn't been any update to this. Am I missing something? Am I the only one using MP4 files encoding their library with handbrake? Do we know if this is fixed with Kodi?

Just upgraded to the latest kodi and chapters still do not work

Nevermind I take that back. Just had to fix the key mappings.
