We just reached 62% of our goal - thank your for your love and support.
From the many comments we got trough our PR channels we realised that many users don’t have raspberry pi or would like to get an plug and play device.
We would like to share with you our thought of adding plug & play media center to boost it up.
1. Plusberry Plug & Play bare bone - Will include raspberry pi B+ with pre installed raspbmc image on 8GB SD card @145$.
2. Plusberry Plug & Play 320GB - all above with 320GB HDD @205$.
3. Plusberry Plug & Play 1TB - all above with 1 TB HDD @235$.
We will appreciate if you can share with us your thoughts.
Thanks,
Sasi

Why would anyone pay NUC prices for Rpi speed?

The perk of the 1TB is 235$ (£144) and is a complete package (raspberry pi B+ with installed xbmc on SD card and designed case).
You need to take in account the assembly, installation, testing and shipping is included in the price.

I do understand the costings, but I just can't see a market for this when you're basically competing with the NUC. The beauty of the Pi is after the initial layout of £25 you can scramble about for the remaining components to keep the cost it a minimum. I do however wish you best of luck with your target.

I sure hope you are not trying to promote it for selfish reasons. If do we will have to remove it according to our rules

Hi,
I am one of the founders of the PlusberryPi project and the reason i posted it is because we are on our last week on indiegogo and we really think its a great project for people who already has an raspberry pi.
We are at 70% and we need as much as support we can get to make it happen.
I am truly sorry if you think its a spam.
Thanks,
Sasi
