I rip all of my media to H264 MKV with the exception of a few movies that I really want top quality. I went to watch an episode of a TV show that I haven't watched in a while, on my bedroom TV, and the video playback was very jerky and stuttering. I played it on my living room PC and it played fine. Could I have done something in the ripping process that would cause this severe performance drop? It is an ION based Zotac box, but I watch stuff on it all the time with no problems.
