I've read on how to auto launch XBMC using the exposed framework with XBMC launcher and mods, but I don't want to do the legwork if it won't work for SPMC as well. Does anyone know if alterations can be made to make it boot SPMC instead?

Yes. SPMC works just fine as launcher.

Yeah..i.just got mine in the mail today. I am going to root it and install xbmc. Do i have to do something to mount the 3Tb hdd when i plug it in?
