Hello. I have been reading a few articles about XBMC HD video playback issues on Android Boxes with AllWinner SoC but I would like to know if there is something cooking in the oven from the official team.

So far the only XBMC fork that I can use to play 1080p videos without stuttering it is Vidon XBMC. Tried w/o success latest stable Gotham, latest dev built Kodi and SPMC.

The box I m using it is the Mele M9 with all winner A31 chip.

A31 should work with normal builds, assuming your firmware is up to date.

I have a mele m9 with fw 3.1.3 based on android 4.2.2. Latest stable

any more feedback on this issue... I still confirm that the only XBMC fork able to play 1080p video w/o stuttering is VIDON XBMC, otherwise any other version is giving me problems on 1080p videos
