Hi, can anyone recommend a decent add-on which will read the NFO information within the media folders on my NAS in Real-Time....so not PLEX. I cannot stand plex, I find streaming is very very poor (I'm more used to Boxee).

Thank you in advance....with so many add-ons it is hard to know which does what and does i well.

Why do you need an AddOn? Kodi can read nfo files.

Really - where do I configure that? I'm currently running Gotham and all of my files show the 'film strip' instead of the NFO information.

I haven't tested this so I can't be positive but according to the wiki, if you set the scraper to NFO Only for your video source it will just read the nfo files and not scrape from the internet. For live updating you could just install Watchdog.
