Everything seems to be fine, but my library is still empty. I'm doing something wrong? The name convention seems fine, and even the episodes are being detected.

Welcome.

Check your naming - I suspect 'Afro Samurai 1x01.avi' would work, but 'afro_1x01.avi' won't.

Welcome to forums.

And in addition to the info you been given see Naming_video_files/TV_shows (wiki) also using tools like Filebot (wiki) increase the change of doing it right naming and not just "whatever"

Please avoid posting logs inline and also avoid posting log portions, use a pastebin and pastebin the full logs in future please. Just link that pastebin link here.

Acording to http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Nam...s/TV_shows, you can use one of this naming schemes:

With season
The most common scenario.
anything_s01e02.ext (1)
anything_s1e2.ext (1)
anything_s01.e02.ext (1)
anything_s01_e02.ext (1)
anything_1x02.ext (5)
anything_102.ext (6)

are you suggesting I should use this:

anything(space)s01e01.ext ??

I used the space instead of the underscore, still no luck. Here is the log of the last attempt:

Your advancedsettings.xml modifications are messing up the matches. Try changing it to

<tvshowmatching action="append">
