Theres something talked about here http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=204907 afaik not been merged, that patch was applied to ffmpeg though on 21st September https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/commits/master?page=4 so now you have to wait until the kodi ffmpeg is bumped form 2.4 to whatever using that ffmpeg version which means you will have to be running a nighly version of xbmc then.

Short answer, yes there is a solution!

Patches are there, you just need to build yourself or use oe nightlies, sraue picked them already.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

My master is enough. I carry both, including ffmpeg prerelease.

You guys are talking with half information and i don't know why..

Where is your Master?
Do you mean this link: https://github.com/FFmpeg/FFmpeg/commits/master?page=4

There is no information on how to decompile xbmcbuntu and re-compile with the new changes.

You don't need to compile everything, you just need to clone fritsch's branch of Kodi and compile it on your xbmcbuntu machine.

Master is here -> https://github.com/fritsch/xbmc

Most likely you should read this -> https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CompilingEasyHowTo
