Side Load XBMC/Kodi
#1
I keep hearing how great 14 alpha 3 and I was wondering if there is a way to side load helix and keep my current gotham install intact. I spent hours ironing issues and it's been running 'anxiety' free for two months now Big Grin I really don't want to bother it.

Doable or not?

if it works, why risk breaking it just to join the upgrade rat race ?

To make it work as is I have to keep hardware acceleration off and use software. My poor AFTV is suffering. The processor is good but not that good.

That doesn't equate to "anxiety free" does it? Install the new one, if it doesn't work remove it and reinstall the old one.

Okay fine. It's not anxiety free per se but its medicated lol.

Only if configuring xbmc from scratch was that simple. If it can be done sure. If not, I am good.
