Hi,
I am completely new to xbmc/kodi. Currently, I have a multiseat setup of MediaPortal, but I think about testing something else.
I have a Server running WHS2011, containing my DVBS2 dual tuner card and all media files.
And I have a Windows 7 machine in my living room as my main HTPC. I suppose, multiseat is supported on xbmc?
I use the LightsOut plugin (www.homeserversoftware.com) to wake up my server when I switch on my HTPC or other devices.
But there is one special scenario when the server should power up from standby without interaction: Record TV.
With MediaPortal, I use a plugin which checks for new scheduled recordings and makes entries into LightsOut calendar.
So, the server will wake up, record and go back to sleep.
As this is very important to me - is there a possibility to do this under xbmc?
