Win Input problem with remote (Win 8.1, Gotham)
#1
Hi everybody,

basically I have one of those really restrictive but good remotes. Since I always skip in videos, figured I'd use the flashforward and rewind buttons for PlayerControls and Stop, respectivelly. Originally they're M and X obviously.

Thing is, I can't map them successfully in keypad.xml.
I tried mapping it like this -
U - FWD
F - PlayerControls.

No matter what I do, F key doesn't bring player controls up, neither the fwd button on the remote mapped to it.
The best I got to is F button (and remote button) doing nothing, and U fast forwarding. And that's with eventghost, without it it'd be worse.
And yes, custom bindings were loaded, I checked.

Seems like XBMC is very determined on not letting the F key to be remapped, I have no idea what's going on, other mappings were successful (except for the remapping of X key which is more the same really).

Would appreciate any help from you fine experts, thanks.
