Create a subfolder for each movie
#1
Hello,

For the moment, I have only a folder with all my movie collection (.avi / .srt / .nfo / -fanart.jpg / -poster.jpg).
I would like to create 1 sub-folder for each movie. Is it possible to do it automatically with OSX?

I think you can achieve this with a shell script but you need to have programming skills to get it right. Not sure if media managers or other tools are able to achieve this with an easy to use User Interface.

You might checkout ViMediaManager. It's actually a full fledged media manager but when you launch the app it will put all your videos into seperate folders for you (you might have to do the art yourself). Of course it can also completely organize your entire video collection for you as well if you want it to, in an XBMC friendly arrangement.
