Hi all - quite new to xbmc and wanting some plain advice from those experienced at setting up remotes.
I have a hp mce remote which I have set up following one of your guides. It works ok but I would like to edit some of the things that certain buttons do on the remote. Now that's where I'm getting a bit confused with things so bear with me.

e.g. The video button on the remote currently bring up tv shows - I'd like it to bring up 'Movies'

Following the guide I have MceRemoteMapper I can see my video button simulates a Ctrl+E key press. But as there seems to be no keyboard press to do the function I'm after I guess I need to edit the keyboard.xml

So do I have to edit the keyboard.xml which currently says that Ctrl+E is set to

to this? <e mod="ctrl">ActivateWindow(Videos,MovieTitles)</e>

Edit the keyboard.xml file. You should restart xbmc for the change to effect.
