Hi,
I have two XBMCs running at home, one in the livingroom and one in the bedroom. Is there any way to make it so that if I watch a movie on the living room XBMC the "viewed-box" gets ticked on the bedroom XBMC as well?

A couple other options as well if you just want watched status to be synced:
syncing and sharing (wiki).

I use a Synology to store my files and to use as a centralised DB.
Before doing this, I used to use 'trakt.tv' for ticking the viewed box.
It's a plugin for Kodi(xbmc)

I'm also using a Synology NAS as a file server, how did you solve the problem?

I have found that running 'artwork downloader' using just local sources (this is important !) makes all the art appear on all my clients. YMMV

I am running MySQL on my synology NAS for two years now and am quite happy about it. Had some performance problems in the beginning, mainly with the music library because of the vast number of items. Most dissappeared with a single tweak: converting the databases to InnoDB. If you set InnoDB as the default database-engine (on the synology) before connecting XBMC it should automatically create the databases with that engine. It might be default in newer versions of MySQL already.
I think all righthtinking people in this country are sick and tired of being told that ordinary, decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired.
