Hi Guys,
I'm running the latest XBMCbuntu on a Zotac ID 83 with an SSD interally and a 4TB Disk externally. It works perfectly. I Just wonder if I could improve things related to the external disk.
Here's the issue:
I can easily enter suspend mode or hibernate and wake up perfectly. But the external HDD keeps spinning while the HTPC ist turned off.
I checked by "hdparm -z /dev/sdc" that in fact hdparm is able to send the external disk into standby mode As soon as there is access to the disk again it wakes up perfectly.
How can I get XBMC to send the external USB disk to suspend when I switch the system into standby mode or hibernate?
I played around a bit by using /etc/pm/sleep.d/ and build my own script but it doesn't seem to work out that way.
Any suggestions?
THX!
