Hi all,
I've got an issue where XBMC freezes when watching Live TV where content switches between 4:3 and 16:9.
I've noticed this on my Openelec 4 and latest 4.2 systems, running pvr.hts and pvr.tvh. Back end is tvheadend 3.4.27

I find it mostly happens on 1 specific channel, '5 USA' but I suspect this is mainly due to not mainly channels still broadcasting 4:3.

I'll grab some debug logs when I come across it next, but thought I'd post to see if anyone else has seen this or if it is known problem.

I have the same problem. The latest Openelec version. Version of TVheadend I don't know. This happen when a old movie on a channel is playing. Then when the commercial will start. I hear the sound for a few seconds then everything just freeze.

please try a Helix version. this is most likely fixed

@thos it should be fixed if you use pvr.tvh addon.

@negge - problem is same with both pvr.tvh and pvr.hts addons.

@FernetMenta - not ready to go Helix just yet, have 3 sets that the family are using so need something stable. If you think it's fixed, I can try it on a test box.
