IMPORTANT:
The official Kodi version does not contain any content what so ever. This means that you should provide your own content from a local or remote storage location, DVD, Blu-Ray or any other media carrier that you own. Additionally Kodi allows you to install third-party plugins that may provide access to content that is freely available on the official content provider website. The watching or listening of illegal or pirated content which would otherwise need to be paid for is not endorsed or approved by Team Kodi.

I know about the policies you are speaking about, but with this new new location tv.jw.org, they do allow plugins, they have instructions on their website for using ROKU so having it on other 3rd party boxes are allowed. now if you have information that I am not aware of that specifically states that we can only use ROKU then please let me know, I would never want to violate copyright rules. But they do allow this type of use.

Thank you for your consideration.

Hi all,

Please note that all content both on jw.org and tv.jw.org is freely accessible. As such, personal use of these resources regardless of the "wrapper" does not violate any copyrights.

It is, in fact, somewhat disappointing that those of us with open-source media centre software & equipment are excluded from making full use of these provisions, and that currently tv.jw.org is accessible only to those who purchase a commercial service...

Anyone listening with the dev skills required to change this please help.

You are not prevented from using it. Just no one has done it.

Most devs scratch an itch. Maybe none of them are itching to see JW videos.

Keep knocking on doors, you might find a dev eventually :-)
