Hello,
I have been a user of XBMC for a long time now and I have always enjoyed it. I started on Windows platform and soon I realized that XBMCBuntu is much better for performance. I have used an MCE remote with windows and with some registry tweaks I was able to get it to do EXACTLY all i needed it to do.

Now my problem is, I added a couple more systems to my house and I decided to move from the branded MCE remote with the Windows logo to this remote Cyberlink so I would unify the settings across all the systems. I bought 4 of this remote and I have searched everywhere on how to do it and I am failing miserably, I tried with Lirc, installing other custom drivers, inputlirc and other ways and they are all failing, when I say failing, i mean they don't map as I would expect, some of the configurations allows just for the directions keys, some allow for a subset of keys and some just simply don't work at all.

I would appreciate any help or tutorial just to get me started as I am new to the Ubuntu world.

I am using Gotham 13.2 ( the latest version before Kodi ) and my system is patched all the way to the latest updated. Kernel is 3.13.0-37-generic.
Please excuse my lack of information, but I will be glad to provide any info needed to help me and others in my shoes setup this remote.
