Hey guys i i really need some help with this issue which is driving me crazy

I am using an intel celeron 1037u Htpc with openelec.It was working absolutely fine on my Toshiba regza 32" Tv.
Saw this offer for this one TOSHIBA 40L5435 40'' 3D LED SMART TV FULL HD WIFI and i went ahead and got it.

The problem is won't recognise the htpc through the hdmi.Only via Vga.Tried an OUYA with the same hdmi and worked perfectly.

Do you have any ideas what i might be doing wrong?

Forgot to mention that it only worked once during the first time i was using it.after i closed the tv and restarted some time later.nothing again...

Be sure you switch on your devices in the correct order. First switch on your TV, after that you have to switch on your HTPC. If you do it in other ways, you will get HDMI handshake problems.

If you do this in this way and didn´t get any screen, please get a Debug Log and paste it on a pastebin site and provide the link.

Is there an amp/avr between your HTPC and your TV? If yes, which one?

It could be the edid on this tv is doing something funky or isn't recognised properly.
