Getting timeouts on mirrors.xbmc.org
#1
Hello people,

I hope I am not posting this in the wrong forum, there are so many but it seems to be a general problem so there we go. For the past couple of days I have been unable to install add-ons on my XBMC (which runs on openelec 4.2.1). I checked the logs and it seems to be a problem with timeouts on mirrors.xbmc.org. As an example, this url here times out:

http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/frodo/scr...y/icon.png

It also times out on my browser. I'm not sure if the server is configured to timeout when it detects some header information it doesn't like, so it's hard to know if it's a system generated timeout or a real one, but it's been pretty much impossible for me to install any add-on. Here's one example of a line in the log:

Code:
02:16:48 T:139683874481984   ERROR: Open - failed to open source <http://mirrors.xbmc.org/addons/frodo/plugin.video.tvvn/plugin.video.tvvn-0.9.4.zip.md5>

This seems to be timing out too when I try on my browser. It's mind blowing as I doubt it's a general problem on the server as I would not be the only one getting timeouts as it seems to be the case right now.

I don't know if it can help but on my side the host IP is: 89.16.176.16

Any help appreciated.

Thanks for the heads up. The mirror on my side came back magically a few minutes after I posted this message yesterday. Thanks!
