I'm running a Windows 7 box with ServerWMC, Ceton PCI with CableCard as my server. I have Windows 7 laptops as working clients with no problems. I am trying to use a Fire TV as a client. I can see the recordings and EPG but when I attempt to play a channel, it says "Channel could not be played. Check the log for details". When I try to play a recording, it shows working for a few seconds, flashes the window like it is about to play, then goes right back to the recording list.
