Does anyone know of a remote that is like the roku 3 gaming remote but is compatible with XBMC and works either bluetooth or IR? I was thinking of getting the Roku 2 XS gaming remote and modifying its settings to make it work like a keyboard and use that for xbmc (it is bluetooth). The problem with that is I can't buy that particular remote in canada without paying over $100.

I like the wiimote, but I have read on the forums it is more of a hassle to setup every time you want to use it with xbmc.

I'm pretty much looking for a remote that if you turn it sideways it can be used as a sort of gamepad.

Here's the design I am talking about:

Grab a generic Wii Remote. Works over bluetooth and actually makes for a great XBMC/Kodi remote.

I read on another forum that the wiimote is a hassle to setup and that you have to set it up everytime you want to use xbmc. Or is it really simple to setup as a basic keyboard for xbmc?

Also is it possible to change username on this forum?

I read good things online about the new Mele F10 Deluxe Air Mouse remote (not the old Pro)

But I'm thinking about buying Probox2 Remote+ remote controller myself for the same reason

I've seen the F10 too, it isn't that impressive in terms of design (still better than measy remote). I wish they could have made the probox2 + remote more glossy.

I guess I will look into a wii remote first and then see about getting the probox + remote if things don't work out with the wiimote.
