Zero Cache - Buffering
#1
I have read tons of posts, and created a zero cache with an advancesettings.xlm file but I still get "buffering" and the "Cache Full" messages. I thought with zero buffering you were not suppose to get full cache. Am I missing something?

Assuming the advancedsettings.xml file is being loaded correctly, this can still happen. For one, you should make sure the buffer mode includes additional protocols, as only some protocols are affected by default. See HOW-TO:Modify the video cache (wiki) for details.

Also, some protocols for file sharing are still limited or use different settings, like PVR backends.

It's also possible to get cache full messages simply if you don't have enough local drive space for the video itself, though I've normally seen XBMC/Kodi simply stop playback and get confused rather than show the message.
