The default alphabetical by show title search doesn't always produce a logical ordering (example: the various Star Trek series appear out of order, and A Touch of Cloth sorts under A rather than T despite setting Ignore Articles to On). Unfortunately, <sorttitle> isn't supported in tvshow.nfo, so I can't simply override the default sort.
Not sure if there's a technical reason why custom sort titles are only supported for movies, but would it be possible to add this for TV shows as well?
I did search to try and find a way to do it, but the best result was a post from 2010 with a workaround in a link to a long-expired pastebin.ubuntu.com link that archive.org doesn't have saved
